Our Personal Concierge Services

Upon arrival our friendly staff will provide you with a check in package containing brochures which offer discounts for dining, bike, moped and electric car rentals, shopping, fishing and attractions.

Stay Requirements

We offer two types of rentals, transient and non-transient. Transient rentals are available for less than 30 days while non-transient are available for 30 or more days. We operate in accordance with Chapter 509, Florida Statutes.

The following is how the stay requirement will be denoted in the description of the property.

  • 3 day minimum requirement
  • 7 day minimum requirement
  • 30 day minimum requirement

Rates

Our standard rates are subject to change without notice Standard rates do not include 12.5% tax, $35 booking fee, $34 damage waiver fee and all units have a cleaning fees which varies per property. Pelican Landing cleaning fees are as follows: all 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom units are $200 per stay. There is not a cleaning fee for 2 bedroom retreat for 1 or 2 nights . If you are staying for 3 nights or more in our 2 bedroom retreat the cleaning fee is $100.

AS OF JULY 1, 2014 WE NO LONGER ACCEPT NON US BANK CREDIT CARDS

The Total Rental = Rent, cleaning fee, booking fee, tax, damage waiver fee, and if elected, optional travel insurance.

For bookings 60 days or more prior to arrival

  • 1st payment (required at booking) = 50% of the Total Rental
  • 2nd payment (required 60 days prior to arrival) = 50% of the Total Rental

For bookings 59 days or less prior to arrival

  • 100% of the Total Rental (required at booking)

Travel Insurance+

We offer optional travel insurance; the cost of this coverage is 7.65% of the Total Rent. Questions about travel insurance coverage please call CSA Protection at 866.999.4018 reference plan 330CSA/KEYWESTV.

Security Deposit or Damage Waiver+

Damage Waiver in Lieu of a Security Deposit

We collect a $34 damage waiver fee in lieu of a $500.00-$1,000.00 security deposit.

Damage to the Property: The damage waiver covers up $1,500.00 in damage to the property. We handle all claims internally and we automatically submit claims on behalf of the guest. There is no need to contact the guest during this process if the damages are less than $1,500.00.

If you choose $1,000.00 security deposit it must be paid upfront and will be returned up to 2 weeks after departure.

Cancellation+

Unless you have purchased travel insurance the following will apply:

For bookings 60 days or more prior to arrival

  • Full refund less booking fee plus 20% of 1st payment (for example if your first payment $1,035 then $1,035 minus $35 (booking fee) minus $200 (20% of deposit) so you refund would be $800 and you would forfeit $235)

For bookings 59 days or less prior to arrival

  • No Refund

Check - In/Check - Out For All Properties other than Pelican Landing:+

Late check-outs and early check-ins can be requested prior to arrival but are not guaranteed.

Check In: Is at 4pm.
Check Out: Is at 10am.

Check-In procedure:
Please check in at our office between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. At our check-in office you will be provided a map and keys with directions to the unit.

Directions to our main office 130 Simonton Street:

  • From US 1:

    After crossing the bridge from Stock Island to Key West, make a right turn at the light onto North Roosevelt Boulevard. Follow North Roosevelt past the next 7 lights and make a right-hand turn at the 8th light which is Simonton Street. We are located on corner of Greene and Simonton Streets past the 4th traffic light on the left side of the street by Diver's Direct in Simonton Row between Love in Bloom and Infinity Hair Salon. 130 Simonton Street
  • From Key West Airport:

    Exit airport and turn right onto South Roosevelt Boulevard. Continue for approximately one mile until you come to the end turn right onto Bertha Street. Follow Bertha Street to the traffic left and continue straight onto First Street until you come to the traffic light at North Roosevelt Blvd. Continue Straight up and over bridge past 2 traffic lights. At 3rd traffic light turn right onto Simonton Street. Go past 1st traffic light to Greene and Simonton Streets we are located on the left side of the street by Diver's Direct in Simonton Row between Love in Bloom and Infinity Hair Salon. 130 Simonton Street

After Hours Check-in information for all properties other than Pelican Landing:+

When the main office at 130 Simonton Street is closed, please call 305-296-6667 prior to 5pm the day of arrival for arrivals Monday through Friday to make arrangements to pickup keys. If you are arriving on Saturday or Sunday please call 305-296-6667 no later than Friday to make arrangements for the Lock # and Code to pickup keys at our office. Lockbox is located to the right of the door.

Check - In/Check - Out For Pelican Landing:+

Late check-outs and early check-ins can be requested prior to arrival but are not guaranteed.

Check In: Is at 4pm.
Check Out: Is at 11am.

Check-In procedure:
Please check in at our Pelican Landing office between the hours of 9am to 5pm 7 days a week.

Directions to our Pelican Landing office 915 Eisenhower Drive:

  • From US 1: Traveling southbound on US 1 enter into Key West by making a right turn onto North Roosevelt Boulevard. Follow North Roosevelt to the 5th traffic light which is Eisenhower Drive and make a right. We are located immediately on the right. Our office is located in downstairs at the Pelican Landing.
  • From Key West Airport: Exit airport and turn right onto South Roosevelt Boulevard. Continue for approximately one mile until you come to the end of the road. Your only option is to take a right onto Bertha Street. Go straight and road ends on Flagler Ave. Jog Left onto First Street and go straight until you reach the traffic light at North Roosevelt Blvd. and turn left. Go to next light and turn right. We are located immediately on the right. Our office is located in downstairs at the Pelican Landing.

After Hours Check-in information for Pelican Landing:+

When the Pelican Landing office 915 Eisenhower Drive is closed, there is a box located to the left of the lobby door. The combination is on the first page of your contract. There will be an envelope with your name on it. Please come down to the lobby the next morning to register your car, boat and guests. You will also be given extra keys if necessary.

Parking Restrictions+

Parking in many Key West locations are very restricted, by space or regulation. Parking required for motor homes, travel trailers, boat trailers, etc. may determine which unit you stay in, or require off street parking arrangements. Off street parking is not available for all locations. Please let us know if you require parking for any of these vehicles so we can make arrangements prior to arrival. NO TRAILERS ARE ALLOWED ON PELICAN LANDING PROPERTY. Please make arrangement across the bight at the City of Key West Boat ramp to park your trailers 305-809-3981.

Behavior+

Should a guest’s behavior necessitate eviction it will result in forfeiture of all monies prepaid. Example; being in the pool area at Pelican Landing after 10pm, loud noise, guest exceeding maximum occupancy, unauthorized pets, etc.

What to bring+

The owner and their individual taste outfit each unit.

  • The units have minimal kitchen essentials, bed linens and bath towels.
  • We also provide an initial supply of propane gas grills, bath soap, dish washing liquid, toilet paper, laundry detergent and paper towels. Additional supplies are responsibility of the renter.
  • We recommend you bring your own blow dryer.
  • Most of our units offer washer and dryers and/or pool towels however, please email us for more information on the unit you chose for your vacation.

Additional Information+

  • Age: Student groups are not permitted. No occupants may be under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Pets: Will not be allowed unless previously agreed in writing, all pets require a pet fee and a weight restriction.
  • Utilities: There is a $300 cap on monthly rentals.
  • Pool Heating: Private homes with a heated pool, the pool heater will only be turned by a request. Request must be made prior to your arrival by email to your reservation agent. You will be assessed a charge of $100 per week.
  • Association Rules: If the unit is a condominium, or other multiple unit accommodations, the guest or persons occupying the unit agree to abide by the rules of the association, a copy will be furnished upon check-in or posted in the units.
  • Keys: The following charges will be assessed: Key delivery or lockout $25. Lost keys or keys not returned $50 each. Lost gate cards or gate keys $100 each.
  • Mail: If necessary to receive mail during your stay, please have it sent to 130 Simonton St, Key West FL 33040. Owners do not supply mailbox keys. Mail can be picked up between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
  • Lost & Found: We are not responsible for articles left behind. Items will be returned to guest at their own expense upon request.
  • Housekeeping: We do not offer any housekeeping services. If you are staying at Pelican Landing we do offer free same day towel exchange. You must come to front desk before 12pm to request a towel exchange.
  • Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside our homes.
  • Returned Check: A fee will be assessed of $35 for returned checks.

Hurricane Policy & Procedures+

Hurricane season in the Florida begins June 1 and ends November 30. Please take a moment to review the following information for procedures regarding mandatory evacuation:

  • We will notify guests of mandatory non-resident evacuation
  • Guests evacuating must return keys for property to Key West Vacation Properties & Realty, LLC office for the evacuation period
  • Guests are expected to stay informed of evacuation status. This information is available on local television and radio stations, or at www.monroecounty-fl.gov.
  • When the evacuation order has been lifted, the guests are expected to contact their property manager to arrange for their return to the property.

In the event of a mandatory evacuation for a hurricane, guests may elect to stay at a safe, temporary location. Key West Vacation Properties & Realty will refund for the time period of the evacuation with the following conditions:

  • Keys for the property must be returned to office and documented
  • Key West Vacation Properties & Realty does not provide or pay for accommodations out of evacuation zone.
  • When the evacuation order is lifted and the property is not damaged by the storm, the guest is expected to return to the property.

If guest elects to cancel the remainder of vacation and return home, Key West Vacation Properties & Realty will not refund any unused nights beyond evacuation period, unless the property was damaged and deemed unsafe.
